Strawberry Fields Forever

|
Mayne's Farm is a great little farm near us in Buckeystown.

Christmas trees in the winter, pumpkins in the fall, sweet corn in the summer, and strawberries in the spring...all are "pick-your-own."

The family grew by one.

Bray married his lady over the Memorial Day weekend with the ceremony and reception taking place at the Patuxent Naval Air Station in southern Maryland.

Welcome to the family Samantha, glad you could join the crazies.

Wedding Prep, Beach Style

|
Before heading to Bray and Samantha's wedding, the entire Dunaway / Coon family took some time to relax and enjoy the sun on the beach.

Even though it wasn't the ocean beach, this particular spot is at the mouth of the Patuxent River and the Chesapeake Bay, any beach is a good beach.

Kayaks, fishing, paddle-boards, and some good old rock skipping.

New Hobby??

|
The family has discovered a new "hobby."

Saturday afternoons will now be spent driving the Virginia country side discovering wineries tucked away in the hills; if they all turn out as cool as Notaviva Vineyards, then we some goodiness to look forward too.

Friday Night Fire

|
The wife, the kids, me, and a few cold beverages; throw in some Smore's (made with Resse's Peanut Butter Cups - yep) and a great way to wind down from the brutal work week.

Nights like these should happen more often.  We get caught up in the day-to-day minutia and forget about these little moments that truly count.  Sometimes you have to force yourself to slow down and just chill.

Wine-o Momma

Sunshine and wine makes momma happy, so, we enjoyed both on Mother's Day.

Celebrated having a kick-ass mom of my two kids by going for a early afternoon hike then hitting Sugarloaf winery on the way home.

Front Yard Joy

Really hard to find something sweeter in this world than my little lady (boots on) swinging in the front yard, just enjoying the sunshine.
