Tents & Tales - 2nd Edition

Just over a year ago, Bambino and I tested the waters at River Legacy's Tents & Tales overnight camping adventure in a city park. We didn't stay the night, we stayed for dinner and story time then headed home to see the girls. This year we wanted to do it right. So,we took the girls. We played during the day. We made crafts and got faces painted. We stayed for dinner, story time, and the movie. We made Smores. We stayed the night. We slept on the ground - no stinkin' air mattress for us. We woke up before the sun broke the horizon and headed back home before half the people knew what hit 'em. Successful trip for all. Momma and I even got a few moments to sit back and enjoy the moment while the kids entertained themselves with new friends and their imagination. Fantastic.
