I Had No Idea

Two years ago today I was trying to act calm and cool as we patiently waited for our second child to enter the world and become part of this mess we call life. Looking back at that day now, I had no idea what I was in store for.

I had no idea I could love a little girl as much as I love mine.

I had no idea that watching her personality come out and seeing how different it is from Jaxson's would be so humbling.

I had no idea that when she falls down, no matter where I am, I will be there to pick her up.

I had no idea how much I would enjoy watching Belle and Robyn form an incredible bond.

I had no idea how much I would love watching Jaxson and Belle play toghether and be friends.

I had no idea that two pig-tails could almost make a grown man cry.

I had no idea that I would have this much fun being a parent of two beautiful, healthy kids.

I had no idea that two years would fly by so fast.

I have no idea what is in store for me, and I like that feeling.
