Christmas Morning

Our first Christmas morning in our new (new to us) house.
Always extra special when you are finally in your own house.
Highlights include Jax got his first "gun" (a Red Rider BB Gun), and AB got her Shopkins Ice Cream truck...both BIG hits.

Ugliest Winner

Jax took first place at the ugliest sweater contest at school. A little last minute bow-clipping and that was all we needed.
And he was part of his first Twitter post (beyond mine); the art teacher has a Twitter account that she does great things with...@artmiddletown
JOY

A planned trip to see Santa went by the wayside; so, we improvised and had an impromptu photo shoot at the house.
Best Show On Earth

The 1st Graders performed their Christmas show. In my mind, it was better than any Broadway show out there.
AB is second row, white shirt, in front of the Santa hats.
Christmas Pageant

Hard to believe, but BOTH kids actually went up on stage and participated at our church kid's pageant...at least somewhat participated.
If you know AB's personality, you know that her walking up on stage in front of a crowd is a big deal.
Frederick City Parade

First time we have ventured downtown for the Frederick city parade. A great small-town parade; although, I think the kids got more candy from this parade then they did on Halloween.

The next time my son makes the comment that the Tooth Fairy left him $10 last time he lost a tooth, I may kick him in the shin.
AB dropped another tooth; this is getting expensive. (Or at least that is what the Tooth Fairy told me).
