Looking For The Great Pumpkin
|
Boo and Pops made a visit, and with that, we always head to a local farm for corn mazes and pumpkin pickin'.
Let Them Clean Up
|
For once, we decided to have Jaxson's birthday party at a money-sucking-child-ridden happy friendly place that we didn't have to worry about cleaning things up afterward.
We kept it small, which was the right move. Just family this time around.
The Ticket Blaster was a huge hit at the best $2.50 I've ever spent.

Lucky Number Seven

Seven years.
Seven years ago I stood in a delivery room humbled and astonished that I was a dad. On a day that so many associate with fear, loneliness, and a day that changed our country forever; I found hope. Our family of two became three. My life definitely changed that day.
Everyday isn't perfect. Jaxson and I have our moments. He's stubborn like his mom and I. He pushes back. He tells you what he likes and dislikes. He stands his ground. Everyday isn't perfect; but the happiness of being a dad are the moments of imperfection.
Happy Birthday Bub!

Labor Day at the Base
|
Labor Day was spent at Patuxent Naval Base; boats, water, corn-hole, and some fishing - and yes, we actually caught a few fish.
Break It Down Now
|
The Bambino asked to take a break-dancing class. Honestly, I was a little shocked at first; however, after his first day and the smile that he couldn't wipe off his face, I couldn't be happier.
