Turkey Trotting: Number Five

Five years and still going strong. No doubt it was the coldest and wettest day so far; but I think we still had our biggest family and friend turn-out of the past five years. Cold winds and rain can't stop us.

Wild Wedding Weekend

Who You Callin' Cupcake?

Jaxson approved...
Total excitement...can you see it?

We didn't mind a little drool on our cupcakes...

While in Austin this weekend we got to experience the greatness of Hey Cupcake.

Hill Country Salt Lickin'

When it come to Bar-B-Que; there are certain places in Texas that are a must. These places go beyond the food; it's the people, the surroundings, the sounds, the total atmosphere.

The Salt Lick is one of those places.

If you haven't been; make the drive to Driftwood and make it happen. Worth it.

Waiting To Dish It Out

He was WAY more excited about handing out the candy then going to get his own. Wasn't able to catch his mad dash to the end of the sidewalk and back once he saw some potential candy grabbers.

He slept great that night.

Trunking & Treating

The kids school organized a warm-up candy grabbing session before the kids hit the streets for a night of sugar indulgence.

Parents showed up for a Trunk & Treat before the sun set with car trunks decorated and a plethora of candy, which allowed the kids to test out their costumes and figure which candy they would keep and what candy they would hand out to all the suckers later that evening.
